For this guide, we outline the process of replacing a leaking set screw tub spout. Sometimes when a shower diverter becomes too old, it can’t block the water flow to divert the water to the showerhead. Replacing a leaky tub spout leads to an enormous amount of water and energy savings. Furthermore, a leaky tub spout can cause an expensive water bill as well. The heavier the leak, the more money you will have to end up paying.
