    • Disassemble all of the parts. This includes: water tank, lid, K-cup holder, and both pieces of the tray where the coffee cup sits.

    • You should not need a screwdriver for this. All of the parts you are disassembling are easily removable by hand.

    • Wash all of the parts in warm, soapy water. Dry well.

    • Unclog the needles using a slightly bent paperclip.

    • Jiggle the paperclip to loosen any debris.

    • Fill the water tank with a half water-half vinegar solution.

    • Do not use straight vinegar. It can damage the machine's parts due to the acidity.

    • Run the water-vinegar solution through the machine until you have emptied the tank.

    • Run clean water through the machine. You may have to repeat this step several times to get all of the water-vinegar solution out of the pipes.

Repeat this process every 2-3 months for optimal use of your Keurig, and to increase the lifespan of your coffee brewer.
