Sometimes a scooter will move in a different direction than the user directs it. This guide will demonstrate how to align the steering column with the front wheel, and so that the scooter moves properly in the right direction.

    • Locate the collar clamp near the base of the steering column.

    • Insert a 3/16" Allen wrench into the screw in the collar clamp and loosen it.

    • The collar clamp will be free to move and may slide around the steering column. When reassembling, return it to its original position.

at this part it would easily loosen for a few seconds then get hard again can you update this and mention that please if its normal

After loosening and re-aligning make sure to tighten it back up really tight so the problem will be avoided for a while. Eventually you will probably have to do this again after using the scooter a lot.

    • Firmly grasp the steering column and turn the wheel by hand.

    • View the scooter along the steering column. Be sure the wheel is perpendicular to the handlebars.

    • The second picture above shows a correct alignment of the steering column from this view.

It worked for me for a little, but after a while the fix stopped working and i am back to where i started, and it is now as tight as it will go. They should really make the scooters better. The guide was really helpful, so thanks so much!
