Warm up the device to soften the adhesive.

To separate the battery cover use plastic tools and a little isopropyl alcohol.

Disconnect the battery and the main flex cable.

Check the parts around the battery connector most probably damaged during previous repair.

Re-solder the resistors or solder new if someone missing or broken.
