Einleitung

The seat on a Ninja 300 is only held in place by a couple of bolts, but small body panels need to be removed first, making the removal process a bit more cumbersome. Luckily, it’s pretty easy and just requires some basic tools.

    • Locate the bolt holding the side seat cover in place and remove it using a 4mm hex key.

    • Make sure to also remove the bolt's washer.

    • Reach under the side seat cover and firmly pull it out to unseat it from its rubber clips. There is one at the rear of the cover and two at the front.

    • Locate the seat bolt and remove it using a 5mm hex key.

    • It's best to use the longer end of the hex key, as the shorter end won't quite fit.

    • Make sure to also remove the bolt's washer.

    • Repeat these steps on the other side of the motorcycle before continuing on to the next step.

    • Grab the front section of the seat and slightly lift it up and back to remove it.
