This was easy to do: we had a Cosmos2 with a broken screen, but the motherboard fit into a Cosmos3 case and worked fine. Unfortunately, though, it won’t connect to the Verizon network anymore, even though the phone number appears in Phone Info (it was working in 2018). I’m thinking this is due to Verizon’s dropping 1G and 2G network support. Any thoughts are welcome!
