Einleitung

Micro SD cards are removable flash memory cards, and can be inserted to expand the memory on your phone. Micro SD cards store information and are sold in various capacity sizes. You may be having a problem with your Micro SD card if you are experiencing difficulty sending or receiving texts, indicating that your memory is full.

Insert fingernail into the slot on the back left side of the phone and pry open.

Schritt 2

Remove faulty battery.
The battery is missing from our device, however, it would be located in the section in-between the fingers.

This guide isn’t very clear by what they mean when they say “screen” which is actually the digitizer.

This guide also fails to mention that you will need to apply heat (perhaps a lot) to soften the adhesive holding the digitizer to the LCD and the phone.

If your needing to replace the LCD you’ll need a new digitizer as well because…

I have yet to see this disassembly performed in a video online without incurring damage to the digitizer. All the videos show removal of the digitizer (cracking and splintering as they go), then the LCD. Also it looks like its not possible to remove them together due to the amount of adhesive LG uses under the digitizer at the top and bottom of the phone. It is unlikely that the digitizer would remain undamaged during the removal process regardless. Maybe if the adhesive is heated enough without melting the phone’s plastic frame it may come willingly but don’t count on it.

In our device shown, there is not currently a micro SD card in the device. However, it would be located in the slot where the finger is pointing.
