This repair is to replace the screen on an LG Rebel. One might need to do this if the screen is cracked or unresponsive. If your screen is cracked be careful not to scratch yourself on the glass.

Hey! Very helpful guide. I was just wondering if this works with replacing the digitizer and the screen, or is it just the screen? email ellym54@gmail.com, I would really appreciate the help!

How do you know if you need to replace the digitizer as well? This Lg Rebel4 was dropped & screen cracked in 2 places however everything still works fine? Im not sure what a digitizer does though. Please help me so i understand because i dont want to mess this up.

Thanks guys

This is just to replace the glass panel over the actual display/digitizer, is it not?

If this is right, why does one need tom remove the back of the case and “undo the metal clips”?

What about gluing the new screen in? It DOES need glue, does it not? Otherwise, what seals it from the environment?
