With daily use, a typical battery will last around 18-24 months before losing significant capacity. If your phone doesn't charge, won't turn on or turns off suddenly, replacing the battery may be a solution. Use this guide to quickly replace your battery. All you need is your device and an opening tool (or you can just use your hands!). Before disassembling your phone, discharge the battery below 20%.

    • Power off the phone before beginning disassembly.

    • Place the phone face down.

    • Insert a fingernail or a plastic opening tool into the gap on the side of the phone.

    • Carefully slide your finger or the tool throughout the edge of the phone to ease the back case off.

    • Place the back cover off to the side.

    • Insert the opening tool into the small gap below the battery.

    • Carefully pop the battery out to prevent damage.

Thank you for your help. When I took the battery out one of the 4 gold prongs is dirty tried to clean with a toothbrush, do you have any ideas to clean it?

my phone goes from fully charged to 0 in a few minutes, I took the battery out and seen it was a bit bubbled. I have so far bought 3 new batteries for my phone and every time when I turn it on I get invalid battery and it turns off I have left the battery out for a week to reset it but I still get the error when I turn it on… please somebody help
