This guide to help you replace the damaged battery to restore your LG X Power back to its former glory.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool above the AUX jack and slide it around the perimeter to pop the back cover off.

    • Remove the twelve 2.5mm Phillips #0 screws from the back of the phone.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool underneath the mid-frame and pry upwards until you hear a click.

    • With the plastic opening tool still underneath the mid-frame, work your way around the perimeter until it's free from the smartphone.

    • Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the front and rear cameras from the motherboard.

    • Pull the cameras out to remove them.

    • Use the flat end of a spudger to disconnect the battery from the motherboard.

    • You will not be removing anything, just disconnecting.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool underneath the motherboard and pry upwards to remove it.

    • Use a spudger and plastic opening tool to carefully pry up the battery.

    • There is a strong adhesive on the back of the battery that will make it difficult to remove.

On my H700 Venture....only have to remove 3 screws on the charger port end of the phone to directly access the battery connection. No messing with cameras or motherboard moving. Be aware once you open phone it will no longer be waterproof. Battery from Amazon.

May not be worth the effort. Replace battery (twice) and all I get is a gray battery icon on the screen with a red flashing question mark when I hook up original equipment LG charger....for hours.

Bought a renewed H700 on Amazon, works great. My bad...I had not backed up my contact list from the phone internal storage...learned the hard way "internal" storage is not the SIM card. Anyone know how to recover contact list from a dead phone ? Contact me at heyinway@yahoo.com Thanks !
