Einleitung

The WLAN card enables your laptop to access wireless internet networks. This guide shows you how to replace a faulty WLAN card.

The battery for this device is not easily accessible and cannot be easily removed. Before you begin your replacement, be sure to disconnect the laptop from any power source. Additionally, we recommend that you drain the battery completely before you begin this replacement.

  1. puwLFClFnHA1VKMA
    • Unscrew the two 7mm Phillips #1 screws that hold the bottom back plate in its place.

    • Place your hands at the bottom of the cover and slide it towards you.

    • Lift the cover up to remove it.

  3. dFAHjOdI4wI3XcZn
    • The wireless LAN card is located at the center of the laptop.

  4. KeXCuysvAl5ZbuKy
    • Unscrew the 3mm Phillips #1 screw that holds the WLAN card in place.

  5. hYGCGRIHoBcJp2Tm
    • Disconnect the black and white cables from the WLAN card.

  6. Llokv32Eb5m1afNZ
    • Gently remove the WLAN card out of its slot.

Easy . I would only add “use spudger to lift cables/replace cables onto card”.

Thanks Ammar, I thought my wifi card was jammed until I saw your post.

Turns out one of the cables (white one) was disconnected which lead to my wifi signal being non-existent. I plugged it in again and its working properly again.

Cheers
