Lenovo Laptop b590 LCD Replacement

You will need:

- a tiny cross-head screw driver

- a sharp tipped knife

- super glue or long lasting sticky tape

Remove both the screws covers located next to the hinges with a sharp tipped knife. It comes off easily.

Remove screws with a cross head screw driver.

Carefully prize away the trim by inserting your fingernails under the edge. Start on the side and work your way round. It will come off completely.

Remove top ((2 screws) and bottom (4 screws) screws as indicated in the picture. The back of the lap top lid will now fold down and expose the screws on the sides that hold the plasma screen in the frame. Remove the 2 screws on either side and the plasma screen can now be lifted away.

Lift tape that holds the connector and remove the connector.

You can now remove the plasma screen.

To fit new screen, do it in reverse order.

Reconnect connector and hold down with new sticky tape or glue old one in place.
