If the fan of your Lenovo ThinkPad T460s (all models) keeps running very noisy constantly, probably the heat radiator of CPU is broken, use this guide to replace the CPU radiator module.

The CPU radiator module is used to dissipate the heat from the CPU. A faulty radiator module cannot transfer the heat efficiently and this may cause your computer overheated or even broken.

This guide will guide you through how to replace the CPU radiator. Before using this guide, make sure you have a new CPU radiator to be replaced and the tools we list.

Before beginning, make sure to power off your laptop completely and disconnect from any external power source.

Make sure you have the right-sized the screwdriver, so you will not strip your screw.
