    • Remove 14 Phillips screws on the bottom of the kayboard.

    • Use a plastic tool to release the clips holding the case together.

    • There are two hidden clips above the left and right arrow keys.

    • Gently pry the two halves of the case apart.

    • Don't worry if any of the clips break, the screws will still hold the keyboard together once reassembled.

I broke the top left corner of the cover when I tried to open it… Good luck only breaking the clips… I didnt even apply much force at all.

    • Unscrew the one screw holding on the ground and pull out the cables.

    • A good way of getting the cables out is by putting a screwdriver right there and twisting.

    • Unscrew this screw

So what about the screw right above and between F6 and F7?

    • The light thing comes out with a wiggle.

    • The scroll wheel on the other is harder because you have to melt or brake the supports off.

    • Then you have to get the wheel out which comes out with a very gentle wiggle.

    • You can then take off the little pads

Okay but then how do remove the Silver screw at the top of the keyboard, next to the grounded screw?

Captain Planet -

step 2, 3rd picture “undo this screw” did not exist on my G710+. rather it had 3 screws one on the botom with a tab and one above the 2 key and one upper left of the insert key.

as for captains question, since i’m replying you get it after removing the motherboard from the back.
