Replacing the battery is a very simple task which only requires a spare coin and replacement battery.

    • Flip the camera so that the bottom is facing you.

    • Take a spare coin and unscrew the battery cover off.

    • Remove the batteries, making sure to note their proper alignment.

Hi just checking which type of batteries are required? You have two types listed, the SR44/LR44 (I understand those are the same types of batteries) then the CR-1 / 3 /3N 3V battery? How many batteries do I need and which type will I need? thanks!

Hi there, i'm a bit stuck, in my 35mm SLR i was taking a shot and the batteries died, leaving the mirror stuck in the up position, i've changed the batteries and the release for the shutter won't click, i can't advance the film lever and so it's a sitting duck at the moment. They're brand new batteries but because the mirror is up i can't even see if the metering works. because i'm half way through a roll of film i don't want to open the back and ruin it so i'm wondering if there's any way to get the shutter to release again or to get the mirror back down, i don't mind loosing a few blank exposures but again i really wouldn't want to ruin the film. Many thanks and i hope you can get back to me,
