Battery replacement is fairly straightforward and involves little disassembly.

    • Remove the old battery by sliding it down the rails that it connects to.

    • With the back of the phone exposed, align the top of the new battery with the bottom end of the phone rails.

    • Slide the battery upward along the rails.

    • Do not force the battery; it should move along the rails with little resistance.

    • Be careful not to pinch fingers, catch hair, etc. in between the phone and battery while moving.

    • Continue sliding until the battery snaps into place. It should be secure and immobile when completely installed.
