Is your Mr. Coffee 12-cup coffee perking slowly or not at all? If you have cleaned the coffee maker without improvement in perk time, it may be a faulty hose. This guide will help you successfully replace the hose giving the coffeemaker a longer life.

    • Empty the coffee maker reservoir.

    • Flip the coffee maker upside down.

    • Remove the six 13.5 mm screws from the bottom of the coffee maker using a Phillips #3 screwdriver.

    • Pinch the metal ties with a pair of needle-nose pliers.

    • Use a spudger to push against the plastic tubing and slide it off the metal tube base.

    • Using a pair of needle-nose pliers, pinch the metal ties together and slide the metal tie up off of the base.

    • To remove the tube, pinch the tubing and pull until it pops off.

    • Remove any debris from the base. If the filter is corroded, remove the filter by squeezing the filter and move it up the base of the tube until it comes out.
