Batteries tend to lose capacity over time. This guide will show you how to replace the battery of your Nixon Mission Android Wear.

    • Remove 4 4.5mm Phillips head screws from back side of watch using PH00 Phillips head.

    • Remove the back plate of watch.

    • Unclip 5 latches from motherboard using a plastic spudger.

    • Remove the 2 3.0mm screws from motherboard using PH00 Phillips head.

    • Carefully remove motherboard & internal screen.

    • Remove from the motherboard the connector with the four cables.

    • Pull the cables upward and the motherboard downward as shown in the picture.

    • Carefully remove the battery from the watch.

Nice presentation, Thanks. I am looking for a replacement battery as well. Can anyone provide closeup images of both sides of the battery so we can try to track down a replacement? I don’t want to crack my watch open until I have the right battery!

The battery is Model : APP00169 or APP00192 made by Apack (http://www.apack.com.tw/index.php ) 3.8Vdc

You can buy it on Ebay but I don’t have find it on the website!

The battery size is 48mm 27mm 27mm and the capacity is 400mah. I’m trying to find a place to buy a new one but all of them cames with 2 wires and this connector has 4

I bought my replacement 162 from Aliexpress. I think the 192 is made exclusively for Nixon repair replacement only, and not available outside Nixon. They quoted over $100AUD for replacement!

the wiring is the opposite way around, so have to flip the battery with installation

Ordered to app00169. Fits well and powered it but couldn't charge it. When I connect the charger it vibrates to charge but then doesn't and just loops.

Any ideas?

According to a previous post, the wiring on the replacement battery is the wrong way around? Have you tried reversing the wires?
