In this guide you will learn how to remove the necessary parts to clean or replace the button board.
The Palm m105 is a device with several different parts. Maintenance takes less than ten minutes to complete.

Remove protective screen cover by flipping up and pulling directly up from the top of the device.

The two clips located on the protective screen will pop out.

Remove Faceplate. There is a tab right where the finger is located that needs to be pulled up.

The Faceplate will then easily lift off.

Unscrew all four screws with the T-5 Torx screwdriver. There is one screw per corner. Turn counter clockwise to remove screws. The link to purchase this screwdriver is Located here. Once you have removed all of the screws the device will be in three separate pieces (the back, the computer and the button board.

Be careful because the power button is loose once you have performed this step.

You can see where the buttons were placed. To remove the buttons from the holder you need to push evenly on two buttons at a time, this will make them pop out easily. Once you have removed the buttons you can now wash or replace the buttons with new buttons.

To replace the new buttons push them back the way they were and you should feel them click into place.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
