The first step is to turn off the camera

Next, locate the battery door on the bottom of the camera

To open, slide the latch left, or towards the tripod mount

The door should spring open

Now that the door is open, release the spring clip on the right

The battery should pop out just enough so you can pull it out

Pull the battery out.
