The Foward/Reverse switch on this Performance Tool WMR-W50042 impact wrench became damaged preventing from running in reverse and therefore the impact was not useful. This guide will provide instructions to replace the trigger switch on a Performance Tool impact wrench.

    • lift the trigger switch to remove the direction switch

    • unscrew the red wire from the motor (Phillips head screw 1/4 inch)

    • pick up the motor and remove the black wire (phillips head screw 1/4 inch)
