Einleitung
A dirty inlet filter may cause high operating temperatures that may affect device performance. Under normal usage, the foam filter should be cleaned at least once every two weeks and replaced with a new one every six months. This guide can be done effortlessly and just requires your two hands.
The video below details air filter replacements for CPAP and BiPAP machines. Although this is not specifically the BiPAP S/T device, it can be used as an aid for better understanding.
For more information on replacing the air filter in the ventilator, please refer to page 6-27 in the service manual.

Remove the filter from the enclosure by gently squeezing the filter in the center and pulling it away from the device.

Examine the filter for cleanliness and quality.

If the foam filter is torn, replace it. (Only Philips Respironics-supplied filters should be used as replacement filters.)

Wash the gray foam filter in warm water with a mild detergent.

Rinse thoroughly to remove all detergent residue.

Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinstalling it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
