No the thing is literally hello together by something that defies the laws of physics. I have two that stopped charging at exactly the same time. New charges did not help so I tried pulling them apart like drained above and ended up breaking the stupid thing. I refuse to try again work the 2nd

does removing the motor exposing the battery? In my unit I see some green thing underneath the motor, looks like a AA battery, can you confirm?

or is it from somewhere else? (I need to replace my battery)

I just dismantled my shaver, and it has a 1.2v AA size NiMH battery (suppo hsy aa1200).

I’m also curious about the battery. Any one have pictures of it or know what kind of battery it has inside?

Thanks! This definitely helps.

I see that too, but how did you get the battery out? I haven’t unsoldered the motor yet, but I don’t see how that would help get it out…

What was the reason for replacing the engine?

What are the brushes installed in the engine?

I just torn apart mine to replace the battery. I was expecting a 18650 but it is just your standard 1.2v rechargeable battery. I replaced it with a lithium ion battery and everything is good as new. They did make it a bit more difficult by adding a lot of double sided tape to the battery. Next time I might try modding it with a 18650. We’ll see…

I am having great difficulty in pulling apart the casing. Is there any recommendation or tips in how to do it? I have tried following the manual and here.
