Einleitung

The power button on the PTAB7XC is made of plastic and frequently breaks; luckily, replacing the power button is a quick and easy process for even beginners.

    • Remove the two 7 mm screws on the top of the device using a J00 Phillips screwdriver by turning them counterclockwise.

    • If the screw heads have corroded or been stripped, it may be necessary to use a larger screwdriver head, such as the J0.

    • Pry the seam between the screen and the case on all four sides with a large plastic opening tool until the plastic case comes off.

    • The plastic case is now free from the device.

    • The plastic power button may or may not fall out at this point. There is no problem if it does.

    • Use tweezers to push on the side of the black plastic power button that is outside of the device case until the button is as far in as possible.

    • Pull on the part of the broken power button that is exposed on the inside of the device case using tweezers until the button itself comes loose of the case.

    • The power button is now replaceable.
