    • Insert plastic opening tool and slide it around the edges until the cover starts to pop off. It may be necessary to go over each side multiple times in order to pop the cover off.

I bought a set of tools for opening the cover of the tablet but as much as I have tried going around each side, I have been unable to make any progress. I can’t get a tool to even begin to fit in between the cover and the tablet. Any suggestions?

I was getting very frustrated as I tried to separate it. I thought maybe there was glue around it's because my son had just replaced the screen. I have the RCA 11 and 1/2 Galileo Pro it has snaps all the way around it. Once I realized that it started to snap apart. I became a little bit more confident. You have to get the snaps to start unsnapping.

Thank you very much for the instructions. I was totally in the blind about what to unplug or not.

“Remove nine 4.8mm screws “ but you only show pictures of 7 screws.

Thanks for the instructions. I don’t know if mine is newer or older but the bus cable turns 90 degrees and goes under the keyboard cable so step 6 really wasn’t necessary. A plastic putty knife slid under old battery loosening the adhesive so you can slide it out from under the bus cable.
