If your RIDGID Belt Sander is low on power or does not turn on at all, you may need to replace the motor brushes. This guide will show you how to replace the motor brushes on your belt sander. For this task you will just need a standard screw driver.

With the brush cap off, the brush should spring out .

With the brush hanging out, gently pull it out.

For the other brush turn to the back side of the belt sander and repeat steps one and two.
