If ever you disassembled the trimmer head in order to clean it thoroughly, and then had trouble assembling it back again, here's a step-by-step guide of how to achieve it!

  1. uruKMNdZf3YFVmbq
    • Pick the thin lubrication sheet and put it ontop of the base. Align the 3 holes.

  2. PLDQXeDaZFGeUWyU
    • Fit the first spring into the base (cast part). The ends have to be oriented to the bottom, as illustrated.

  3. GD2m6hIAjn4PXHjv
    • Turn around the assembled parts, and fit the short hair trimmer knives into the small pin (see arrow) of the cast piece.

  4. YltQTlCi4UhZpsYI
    • Now insert the nail in between the spring ends and the small bracket. This will hold the ends and make it possible to further assemble the head.

  5. rSmspHvBEpQiGcqx
    • Now you can fit the locking part into the two pins (see arrows). The spring ends should not be touched here - if yes, reposition the nail.

  6. N3VLMRuwvEn1fXES
    • Now fit the base plate of step 1 onto the other parts, using the 3 T8 screws.

    • For the time being, do not tighten up the screws completely, just enough to hold all the parts together. This will allow you to gently lift the short hair trimmer with your finger - the knives will move downwards.

    • Now a step where you may need some extra patience: take the small spring, insert it into the groove of the short hair trimmer with the 2 ends, gently push it and insert the spring winding into the upper groove of the cast part.

Sorry, but I didn't get 6th step at all. I mean this "Now a step where you may need some extra patience: take the small spring, insert it into the groove of the short hair trimmer with the 2 ends, gently push it and insert the spring winding into the upper groove of the cast part." Can you please tell me more about this step or something.

    Thanks in advance.

If it's of any use, the small spring is visible in both the picture for step 10 and the one for step 11. It's especially easy to understand it's placement once you've seen the spring and see the image for step 11.

This step was the only one I needed to complete it so once I understood which grooves were being spoken of - the one underneath the short blade for the legs of the small spring, and the groove on the cast piece located underneath the side where the large spring is fit or in other words in between the small blade and the cast piece right in the middle (it becomes pretty obvious once found) - finally placing that small piece became easy.

    Thank you for the guide!

Hi nobody3313... yes you are right, it's not that easy to understand. Actually, the small spring I'm speaking about cannot be seen on the picture. It's a small spring with 3 windings and 2 legs in a V-shape. I can send a photograph, if necessary. You insert the two legs (ends) into the short trimmer, and the winding into the cast part (silver). HTH!

    • Now retract the nail from its position... (first picture)

    • ... and reinsert it one step higher (second picture), so that the nail pushes the spring ends above the plastic arms of the short hair trimmer.

  8. UUH3DT4MhqWxNumE
    • Fit the wide hair trimmer into the assembled parts.

  9. 5HkFcXtBFDsHQ5RU
    • If necessary, put the spring ends behind the small guides in the wide hair trimmer part.

  10. RyrfsED1Wkq2MtoO
    • Fit the two oscillation arms into the 2 pins of the wide hair trimmer first, and by spreading them.

    • Then tilt them to the inside, that the small latches keep it in place.

    • Gently lift the other ends of the arms above the pin of the cast part. Careful: you may break the arms if you lift too hard!

  11. EHtHvafMLcdBTQdu
    • Finally push the arms completely down the pin.

    • Well, that's it!

The spring can be seen in the picture on step 11. I used narrow pliers to get it in it's place.

I think the oscillation arms inverted in the pic. The little "R" letter is, in effect, on the left mounted.

Another question: what's the right face of the lubrication sheet?

Thank you some freak in my house broke the head bit, I managed to find all the pieces,
