Einleitung

Use this guide to remove the front wheel from a Nishiki Aero II Road Bike or similar bikes that use a bolt-on axle. Commonly found on older bikes or single speed city bikes. This guide is not for quick release or thru axles. Bolt-on axles are great for bikes that require simplicity and are better at stopping bike wheel theft because they take longer to remove compared to quick release axles. It is critical that this is done correctly, if not it can result in serious injury to the drop outs on the bike and to the rider if the wheel comes off due to improper installation.

Before using this guide make sure you have the correct size replacement 700c front wheel that has a bolt-on axle.
