Einleitung

If you have water damage, or listen to music too loud and blew out you speakers, this guide will help you replace them. Be aware that there are many small pieces within this device, from 4mm screws to small components. This is a very simple part to replace, so there will not be too much to keep track of - only the back of the device and the speakers themselves.

    • Using a nylon spudger or flat plastic opening tool, pry open the back of the device.

    • It is easy to begin this process by starting at the micro SD card insert, as shown in the pictures.

    • Using a phillips head screwdriver, remove the two 4mm screws holding down each speaker.

    • Locate the flex cable attaching each speaker to the motherboard.

    • Carefully use a nylon spudger to lift the cable and detach it from the motherboard.

    • Lift the speaker out of the device.

    • If the speaker does not come out easily, use a flat tool under the flex cable to slightly lift the speaker out of place before removing it with your hands.

    • Be careful when working with flex cables. Excessive force and sharp tools have the potential to damage these components.
