This guide will give you step by step directions on how to replace a Sanitaire SC684 Belt.

    • Be sure to unplug the vacuum cleaner before disassembling to prevent electric shock.

    • Lay vacuum on its back

    • Find the bottom metal plate and identify the two latches on either side of the vacuum.

    • Detach the two latches on either side of the vacuum by pulling outwards towards the wheels.

    • The belt is a black circle made of rubber.
