How do you disconnect “quick” connect battery prongs. They seem to be covered in black plastic

Green light go off after charging 24 hours but does not come on. What's the problem with it?

Have a shark sv780-n cordlessvacuum cleaner that doesn't work. Is it the battery that needs to be changed?

    samuel brown -

The instructions are incomplete. No information on what a “quick disconnect” is or how to perform this critical step. Also no information on how to reconnect a new battery. Great photos but embarrassingly incomplete directions - I’m guessing the author doesn’t know how to do anything but the obvious stuff either. I figured out everything else on my own so this was not even remotely helpful.

Ditto — Can’t “unplug” the Old battery; so how can I do that first and THEN plug in the New one?

I changed the battery, it still shuts off after 1 second

It has a 2 year warranty, mine quit working at 2 years 10 months. Pretty expensive for only 34 months.

Mine still working after 3 (three)years and it was $45 at the time from Walmart. Wouldn't be cheaper to buy an other whole unit than waste $45 plus tax, plus work just on the battery pack like Amazon's Banshee ( read EXTRATERRESTRIAL ) battery pack of $45 plus tax ???
