Einleitung
Is there water getting into the case? Maybe it fogs up with moisture? Here is a simple guide on how to replace the gasket in the waterproof case in the Sony HDR-AZ1.

To open the case, slide the tab located on the underside of the case to the “unlock” position.

Press in the tabs, that are on the sides of the unlock tab, and pull down. This should cause the lid to open.

Remove the lid.

Using the plastic opening tool, wedge it between the O-Ring and the groove.

Move the tool around the ring, prying the gasket from the groove, until it is able to be grabbed.

Abschluss
To place a new gasket in, follow these steps in reverse order, making sure the gasket is fully pushed back in around its entire perimeter.
