If you find that your laptop no longer connects to a Wi-Fi connection. It may be time to replace the wireless network card.

    • Remove the twelve 5 mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop.

    • Remove the two 5 mm Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop.

    If a hard drive is installed it has to be removed to complete the next step. There are also two screws (one on each side) of the battery connector that have to be removed.

    • Using the plastic prying tools, go around the edge of the bottom of the laptop to release the cover.

    • Disconnect the black and white antenna wires from the wifi card.

    • Make sure to lift the plugs straight up from the sockets and not from an angle.

    • Remove the 3 mm Phillips #0 screw from the wifi card.

    • Remove the card from its socket.

Perfect hardware guide, but i make this and windows 10 recognizes the card, but does not start the Wifi, my laptop SVE14A2X1EW does not have wifi switch or Fn buttons, and I have no way to enable the wifi, some trick?
