Einleitung
The Toastmaster W252C is a vintage waffle maker taken off of the market decades ago and replaced by more modern and complex waffle makers. Join us as we discover and dismantle this relic of the past.
In order to successfully disassemble the device, use a small flathead screwdriver and prying tool. Make sure the device is unplugged and fully cooled before you begin the process. Other than that, there are no dangerous components or specific tools you will need.

Remove the 10 mm flathead screw attaching the metal plate to the cooking surface.

Separate the metal plate from the cooking surface.

Use your hands to pull the heat settings knob away from the front of the bottom half.

Remove the bottom cooking surface from the metal shell.

Remove the 10 mm flathead screw from the inside of the bottom half.

Separate the metal plate from the cooking surface.

Remove the plastic clips holding the resistor by simply maneuvering them so that they fall out of the hinge.
