The battery is an essential component for every electronic device. The batter stores and uses charge when needed. If your device is not properly charging or is not turning on, you may need to replace the battery. Replace your current battery to increase and optimize your Toshiba Encore's battery life.

Lay the tablet face down.

Use the Opening pick at the back of the tablet to free the clips. Begin to pull the tool up slightly and work your way around the tablet to free all the clips.

Remove the back panel from the tablet.

Use a pair of fine tweezers or your fingers to flip up the small retaining flap. Then, you can safely pull the ribbon cable out.

Remove the attached battery wires by pushing the plastic wire holder from right to left on top and bottom part of plastic holder.

Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to remove the seven battery screws connecting the battery to the unit.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
