Is your antenna not picking up the monitor signal? Read this repair guide to find out how to replace your antenna.

    • Remove the battery cover by sliding it down.

    • Firmly grasp the battery and pull to disconnect the battery from its connector.

    • Using a Phillips #00 screwdriver, unscrew the two 5.0 mm Phillips #00 screws located at the bottom of the monitor inside of the device.

    • Using a plastic opening tool or spudger, pry apart the front case from the back. There are many access points, but the best spot to insert the spudger is around the "TALK" button.

    • Avoid using the metal spudger. When working with electronics, it's important to choose a tool that's ESD-safe to avoid accidental damage to the device. The regular black nylon spudger or a plastic opening tool should be used whenever possible.

    • Unscrew the two 5.0 mm Phillips #00 located at the top of the device that connect the handle to the motherboard.

    • Tip: Remove the handle, and then remove the “TALK” button to get access to remove the motherboard.

    • Push down on the antenna on the top of the motherboard.

    • Caution: Be careful not to disconnect the red wire while removing the motherboard.

    • Push the two plastic clips up to pull the metal clip away to finally free the speaker. Now you can remove the motherboard from the device.

    • Find the label “ANT2” on the motherboard on the left of the top right screw hole. This is where the antenna connects to the motherboard. Desolder the antenna and remove the wire carefully.
