    • Lege die Xbox 360 S so hin, das sie mit der Unterseite zu dir zeigt.

    • Schiebe die Einkerbung der Festplattenabdeckung nach links.

    • Ziehe die Festplattenabdeckung von der Konsole weg.

    • Fasse die Stofflasche mit der Aufschrift "250 GB", die an der Festplatte befestigt ist, fest an.

    • Ziehe die Festplatte gerade aus der Konsole heraus.

    • Die Stofflasche ist an einer Verriegelung weiter im Festplattengehäuse befestigt. Du musst ein wenig Kraft aufwenden, um die Festplatte herauszuziehen.

do you have to transfer the OS? or data? if so what utility is used? do you need a data transfer cable?

Can I just add an external drive to supplement the existing HDD?

no the os is on the internal drive all the hard drive is doing is adding more storge space
