Einleitung

This replacement guide is based on the Xbox Series S Model 1914 controller. There are certain situations where the joystick caps on the controller could become very sticky and/or become hard to move. That’s why it is important to change them or clean them every once in a while. That is what I’ll be explaining in the guide.

    • Open the back of controller by sliding the battery cover upwards.

    • Remove the batteries from the controller.

    • Use an opening tool to pry both side plates open.

    • Punch a hole in the center of the sticker to find hidden screw. Then remove the screws with the Torx TR9 screwdriver.

    • All the the screws are the same length so they are all interchangeable for each of the five spots when screwing them out.

    • Remove the front plate of controller.

    • Pull the joysticks off the controller to either clean them or replace them.
