If you need to learn how to replace the motherboard in your ZTE Maven z812 smartphone, follow this guide.
The motherboard on the ZTE Maven z812 is located in the interior of the phone.
Be sure to disconnect the phone from any external power sources before removing or replacing any parts of the phone.

Use an opening tool or fingers to separate the midframe covering the rest of the device starting at the top corner.

Use a pair of tweezers to carefully detach the ribbon cable connecting the camera to the motherboard.

Using the tweezers or your fingers, firmly pull up to remove the camera from the phone.

Detach the clips and cables and carefully and pull the glue pieces off the sides.

Remove the motherboard with your fingers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Is it possible to remove the wifi chip or component. From ZTE Z812 cell. And still be able to use it for talk and text. And if possible where is it located. And how, or where can I have it done, I'm in Houston, Texas. I know it's over kill but that's my question /comment. Thanks for your time.
