Einleitung

The spinning edge brush is located on the edge of the Roomba. It brushes dirt and hair into the center of the vacuum where it can easily be picked up. If the vacuum is not picking up the dirt on the edge of the vacuum's path, the spinning edge brush may not be working properly.

    • Make sure the Roomba is turned off to avoid an electric shock.

    • Turn the Roomba upside down, and place it so that the underside is exposed. The wheels and brushes should be visible.

    • Do not attempt to open up the yellow battery pack. You may get shocked or burned by the battery acid.

    • Identify the yellow plastic rectangular battery, directly to the right of the spinning brush.

    • Place your index fingers on the small rectangular plastic tabs on both sides of the battery. Push the tabs in until the battery comes loose.

    • Pull battery out using your fingers.

    • Do not attempt to open up the yellow battery pack. You may get shocked or burned by the battery acid.

    • Locate the spinning brush that is directly to the left of the rectangular pocket for the battery pack.

    • Unscrew the 7.2mm Phillips #1 screw from the spinning brush.

    • Gently pull the spinning brush upwards to remove it.
