If your iRobot Roomba S9 Plus has trouble driving, one or more wheel modules may be at fault. Check out our troubleshooting guide for other possible causes. If your wheel modules are indeed in need of replacement, this guide will walk you through the left wheel module replacement.

    • Press the plastic hook under the lid.

    • Lift the handle and remove the bin.

    • Flip over the Roomba.

    • Loosen, but do not remove, the eight screws on the bottom using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

    • Lift and remove the brush module.

    • Remove the bottom cover.

    • Lift the clip sensor.

    • Press the latch on the inside of the left wheel module using your spudger, then lift and remove the module.
