2008-Present Scion xB Oil Change
Background and Identification
After its initial launch, the Scion xB received a major facelift and various changes for the 2008 model year. Compared to the previous generation, the new xB was less boxy, larger, and 600 pounds heavier. The previous 1.5 liter engine was replaced with the same 2.4 liter inline 4 cylinder engine found in the first generation Scion tC. Transmission options included a five-speed manual or a four-speed automatic transmission. The second generation Scion xBs also come standard with several safety features including side air-bags, anti-lock braking system, brake assist and stability control.
