The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7911G is a corporate networking telephone produced by Cisco as part of the Cisco 7900 series phone line. Cisco Systems, Inc. is an American technology conglomerate headquartered in San Jose, California. Cisco Systems develops, manufactures, and sells networking hardware, software, telecommunications equipment, and other high-technology services and products.
The Cisco Unified IP Phone 7911G, also called the CP-7911 or CP-7911G, is designed for cubicle, retail, classroom, and manufacturing use where there is low to moderate telephone traffic. This model features four dynamic soft keys that guide users through business features and functions. A pixel-based display includes various features, calling information, and Extensible Markup Language (XML) services. The phone offered several security features and an option of IEEE 802.3af Power Over Ethernet (PoE), local power through an optional power adapter, or Cisco inline power.
Cisco stopped selling the Unified IP Phone 7911G model in February 2012 and ceased support of the phone in February 2017.
Cisco Systems phones and other products often include the Cisco logo, which includes the name “Cisco” underneath a series of vertical lines of varying lengths. Usually, the logo is printed in a light blue color. This model includes the name “Cisco IP Phone” with the number “7911” printed in the upper right-hand corner of the system’s front face.
