Background and Identification
The American Sander Floor Sander is also called the Super 7R Edger. It is a plug-in electric floor edging machine. It is intended to be used alongside another sander such as a drum sander in large spaces, and is mainly effective for sanding close to a wall without damaging it. However, it can also be used by itself in small or hard-to-reach floor spaces such as closets, stairs, and bathrooms. This machine uses a circle of bolted-on sandpaper to sand surfaces. There are two other models of this floor edger. They are the 07125A and the 07098A, and they have very similar features to the 07013A except for their electrical rating.
This floor sander is manufactured by Nilfisk, a company based in Denmark that manufactures cleaning equipment for the industrial market as well as consumer and commercial markets. Clarke began in 1916 as a maker of floor sanders as well as other cleaning equipment. The company was bought by Studebaker in the 1960s and later by Nilfisk. Clarke is now a regional brand within Nilfisk.
