Background and Identification
The Dell XPS line of computers are known for their speed and high processing power. They were originally developed and released to compete with Gateway, another computer manufacturing company. The XPS line gained attention for its ability to perform quickly while running graphic-intensive design and multimedia programs as well as games. The more recent models of Dell XPS laptops are still known as good gaming laptops, although they may need some extra help to run modern games that require lots of processing power.
Dell XPS Laptops have the circular Dell logo on the back, as well as in the center bottom of the computer screen. Some older models will also have the letters XPS printed on them, either in the top corner of the screen’s frame, or on the back. If your laptop doesn’t have these, however, you can use this page to assist in finding the model number of the computer. This will tell you what version of the Dell XPS you have.
