Background and Identification

The Dräger Fabius MRI Anesthesia machine was approved by the FDA for public use in 2008. It is specifically optimized for magnetic environments and is certified for field strengths of up to 40 mTesla or 400 Gauss. This allows the device to provide ventilation with 1.5 and 3 Tesla MRI systems.

The machine features various therapy modes that include volume, pressure, pressure support, and SIMV/PS controls. The MRI suite exports clinical data for accurate anesthesia records. The Dräger Fabius MRI’s electronic ventilator is servo-controlled and requires no drive gas, producing greater inspiratory flows and more precise tidla volume delivery.

The body of the machine is gray, while the top, middle, and body trims are in blue. The name of the machine, Dräger Fabius MRI, is clearly displayed at the top on the blue trim. Green, yellow, and blue dials and gauges are featured. There is one central screen that displays all operations.
