Background
The Ground Hog T-4 Trencher is a small, specialized device used for trenching. It is an operator propelled device that uses a chain-type trencher to dig trenches from 12 to 18 inches deep. The design of the T-4 Trencher gives it the ability to be a device that is easy to use around any jobsite. It is designed with a distinctive rachet mechanism on the wheels that helps the machine to stay on track and to not pull away from the direction that the operator is propelling it. This allows the trencher to pile up the dirt along the sides of the trench to prevent the user from having to recreate their work.
The Ground Hog T-4 Trencher has two types of blades that are used for different types of soil and three depth settings used to provide the optimal digging depth for different job types. One of the two blade types is the shark blades, which have shorter teeth and is used for soil that contains small roots. The other type of blades are the bullet blades, which are used to deal with soil that contains larger rocks and tougher soil. Along with two different types of blades, the T-4 Trencher has the option of three separate types of engines, Briggs Stratton Intek, Subaru, and Honda.
The design of the T-4 Trencher also provides easy transport of the machinery due to its built-in lift handles.
