Background and Identification

Huawei produces a variety of electronic devices, including laptops, tablets, and wearables, as well as a variety of products and services for businesses. Huawei is headquartered in Shenzhen, China, after being founded there in 1987. Huawei is the largest manufacturer of telecommunications equipment in the world. It is also the second-largest smartphone manufacturer, behind only Samsung (Huawei surpassed Apple in 2018).

The Huawei tablet line includes the Huawei MediaPad T2, which was released in 2016. The MediaPad T2 offers users a 7” display with a 600 x 1024 pixel resolution, a 1.5 GHz processor, and front and rear 2 MP cameras. The MediaPad T2 can also be connected to the 4G LTE network and used as a smartphone. The tablet was noted for having a disappointingly low camera quality.

The Huawei MediaPad T2 is thin (8.5mm) and rectangular. It comes with a silver or black encasing. The Huawei logo is printed on the back of the device.
