Summary
P40 lite E is an entry-level Huawei device. It's equipped with a 6.39 in. IPS LCD display, a Tripple-Camera array with main 48MP shooter, a 4000 mAh Li-Po battery, lasting about 2 days and a staggering 12nm Huawei Kirin 710F beast. Depending on the market this package can come around 150 Euros Brand new, or 158 US dollars.
But with great power, comes great downsides, and there are some. One of the biggest being the loss of GMS (Google Mobile Services), because of the conflict with the Chinese market, aka the roots of the company. The P40 series and some other devices come with Huawei's proprietary HMS (Huawei mobile services) and Huawei AppGallery. Depending on the user, they aren't that bad, but as of time on writing, it's not that stable and has a lot of caveats.
If you're okay with downloading some APKs for your favorite apps that aren't natively supported in AppGallery and sideloading some plugins to get navigation and real-time push notifications, it's a great and responsive device with 10W charging adapter included in the box (not like Apple...) and a long-lasting battery even on heavy use with sharp and clear glass display with high peak brightness.
