Background and Identification
Huawei smartwatches deliver common smartwatch features, such as activity and sleep tracking, while also providing more advanced capabilities. The first Huawei smartwatch was released in 2015. Since 2015, gradual improvements have been made, resulting in models that compete with giants of the smartwatch industry, like Apple, Fitbit, and Samsung.
A notable Huawei smartwatch is the Huawei Watch GT 2e, released in May of 2020. It has a 1.39” AMOLED touchscreen display and sports an impressive battery life of up to 14 days. The Huawei Watch GT 2e is GPS compatible and includes a variety of sensors, including an accelerometer sensor, optical heart rate sensor, gyroscope sensor, and more.
This model is also water-resistant, but Huawei recommends you take it on your next visit to the swimming pool instead of on your next scuba diving trip.
Huawei smartwatches have thin circular or rectangular watch displays that connect to wristbands with buckle straps. The watch face is generally black or silver, and the wristbands come in a range of color options.
